This was a project for my cartographic design course; I was tasked with creating an international bike race that incorporates a detailed terrian basemap. I used raw DEM data and NDVI data to create the basemap for the land. I also used bathymetric data for the ocean. The bike route itself was a kml, which I created through Google then converted to shapefile. The route stretches from St. John, New Brunswick to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.
